ENGLISH DAY

The English Day was held on July 2nd, 2010 at the Keble Memorial Hall. The event was packed with English drama, song and dance. The students of the English Literary Association also produced an English magazine titled "Pegasus". The chief guests for the event were Mr. Kesera Ranawake and Mrs. Ranawake.

13A COMMERCE STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL TOUR - TRINCOMALEE

The students of 13A Commerce took part in an educational excursion.

MEELAD UN NABI CELEBRATIONS

The Meelas Un Nabi Celebrations were held on the 22nd of May 2010 at the Keble Memorial Hall. Ven. D. Canagasabey, Archdeacon of Nuwara Eliya was the chief guest.

UVA THOMIAN CRICKET ENCOUNTER

The Uva Thomian Cricket Encounter between S. Thomas' College Bandarawela and S. Thomas' College, Gurutalawa was held on the 15th of May, 2010 at the Urban Council grounds. The chief guest was Mr. Nisal Fernando, former Sri Lankan cicketer. The game ended in a draw.

PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS MEET

The Primarch School Sports Meet was held on the 27th of March, 2010 at the college grounds. The chief guests were Mr. Indrajith Fernando, Director and CEO, Bartleet TransCapial Ltd and Treasurer, Board of Governors - St. Thomas' Colleges and Dr. Mrs. Sharain Fernando.

The Kandyan Dancers - ‘hisa wes bendima’ ceremony was held on 18th March, 2010 at the College grounds.

FOUNDERS DAY SERVICE

The Founders Day Service was held on January 20th, 2010 at the college chapel. This was followed by an art exhibition and a tree planting ceremony. The chief guest was Mr. Aravinda Dassanayake, Engineer - Technology at Virtusa.
