BOARDER'S NIGHT The Boarder's Night was held on December 10th, 2009. The event was filled with drama & song and followed by dinner.

SERVICE OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS

The Service of Nine Lessons and Carols was held on 6th December 2009 at the Keble Memorial Hall. Rev. Fr. Christopher Balraj, Lecturer - Theological College of Lanka and past pupil of S.T.C. Bandarawela delivered the Christmas message. View Service of Nine Lessons and Carols Programme 2009.

CUBING DAY 2009 AND CUBING ENROLMENT

The Cubing Day was held on the 9th of December 2009. The event involved the participation of cub scouts, their parents as well as teachers.

GURU UPAHARA 2009

The "Guru Upahara" programme was conducted by the students of the Buddhist Students' Association in collaboration with the Prefects' Guild of S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela to commemorate Teachers' Day - October 6th, 2009.

GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION 1959-2009: CHAPEL OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

VANI VIZHA CELEBRATION 2009

The Vani Vizha Celebration was held on September 24th, 2009 at the Hindu Cultural Hall Bandarawela. The Chief Guest was Hon. Dr. Suresh Vadivel, Deputy Minister of Health and Nutrition. The event was organised by students of the Hindu Cultural Society.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR TEACHERS

A Professional Development Programme was conducted by the University of Colombo for teachers at S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2009.

ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING

The Annual Prize Giving was held on Friday 3rd July 2009. The Chief Guests were Mr and Mrs Chandra Schaffter.

MEELAD-UN-NABI CELEBRATION

The Meelad-Un-Nabi Celebration was held on Sunday 31st of May 2009. The Chief Guests were Vidyajyothi Professor Rezvi Sheriff, Director, PGIM, President, Sri Lanka Medical Association & Mrs. Ameena Rezvi Sheriff. The following photos were taken at the event.

UVA THOMIAN CRICKET ENCOUNTER 2009

The Annual Cricket Encounter between S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela and S. Thomas' College, Gurutalawa was revived after 22 long years! The two colleges vied for the "S L A Ratnayake / Patrick Gunwardena Trophy" on 23rd May 2009 at the Bandarawela public Ground. The chief guest was Mr. Michael Tissera, former Sri Lankan cricketer and an old Thomian who captained the cricket team in 1957/58.
